Energy Efficient Thermal Glass
The most important part of the window is the glass! You can even change your existing double glazing to triple glazing while keeping your existing frame to dramatically improve the energy efficiency of your home.
We recommend Planiterm glass with excellent energy efficiency. This includes an argon gas filled cavity and warm edge spacers for enhanced insulation. Their Energy Standard glass is coated to retain the warmth of the sun and prevent heat escaping from your home.
Planitherm is thermally insulated glass. It uses the latest advances in glazing technology to coat the surface of the glass with a high performance thermally insulating layer, and this will, of course, lead to savings in heating bills for your home. It’s known as low-emissivity glass, or low-E glass for short.
This just means you’ll be cooler in the summer, however much warmer in the winter, for only a small percentage of the cost if you were to replace the entire wndow. Why wouldn’t you choose to save thousands and get the same benefits? Don’t think full replacement, think UPGRADE!

How do I know if the glazing has failed?
There are a number of signs that your double-glazing has failed.
- Condensation between the panes of your double glazing
- Draughty windows
- Cracked or broken glass or seals
If you have any of these signs, it may be time to get new glazing.
Can just my glass be replaced?
Whether your frames are wooden, aluminium or UPVC. All glass units can be replaced without changing the frames.
Do my frames need replacing?
None of your frames need replacing in order to change blown, misted or broken glass units. Glass units can be replaced in every window for better energy efficiency.

Can the design be matched?

Can my locks and handles be replaced?
